Children have a special place in Jesus’ heart and they have a very special place with Oakbrook Church’s Children’s ministry!  Our “Kingdom Kidz” program is designed to teach children between the ages of 3- 11 years, the love of Jesus Christ. 

Our heart is to teach each child not only about the love and joy of Jesus, but to also encourage a love for one another, for God’s Word, and for the communities in which we live & serve in!  During the school year we offer our Sunday school programs, called "The Well" from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  We also offer child care during our regular worship service following The Well.

What is KIDMO?

"KIDMO" is a high-powered interactive series of monthly lessons about being a Christ centered kid to the max for all 1st-6th graders!
Our KIDMO program is an outreach event for all children, including our churched kids who are encouraged to invite school friends and buddies from their neighborhood and sports teams.  

We always say that this is a program that kids should not miss, and it's only once a month. It's a small commitment with big teachings and impact. We just finished a series that focused on being a positive change in our homes, schools, community and world - who wouldn’t benefit from that! The kids loved it!

The DVD lessons are led by wacky host Johnny Rodgers and a fun cast of friends, and kids quickly become engaged! There is an interactive quiz at the end of the DVD, called KWIZMO! which helps kids remember Bible verses and learn more about Jesus. There is always a great snack and small group discussion. The discussion groups are a good place for the kids to open up and ask questions. We close our evenings with a prize winner and a prayer of thanks.

We have a consistent KIDMO Krew that the KIDMO kids have come to appreciate and enjoy. In fact, two of our KREW members always pick-up at least six of our kids because there is a lack of transportation!  New kids are always welcome.  We recently designed super cool KIDMO T-shirts for our long time KIDMO kids and they enjoy wearing them to every event. If you know anyone who would like to join us, please extend an invite. It's simple, it's fun, and we’d love to have your kid join us for a wild and crazy time of sharing the love of Jesus. It's KIDMO!
